On 7–8 April 2025, the Southern African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy will host the much-anticipated 2nd Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Conference at the Southern Sun, Rosebank. This key event will explore the role of green hydrogen technologies in advancing industrialisation in Southern Africa, while addressing the broader global energy transition.
Under the theme “Pathway to Industrialisation”, the conference will bring together industry leaders and researchers to discuss hydrogen’s potential across its entire lifecycle – from production and storage to its application in fuel cells.
