Green Energy Africa Summit is a high-level gathering that advocates for policy reforms and the harmonisation of Africa’s natural resources, to help pave the way for a just energy transition to ensure Africa remains competitive and attractive to global finance. The Green Energy Africa Summit, provides unrivalled opportunities for stakeholders across the energy value chain to collaborate, offer solutions and build partnerships to help unlock Africa’s true socioeconomic potential.

In 2022 we welcomed 1,000+ senior delegates and 50+ Ministers and Government Officials across two days of pioneering industry leading insight, delivering deals and transactions across our conference, exhibition, and elite networking platforms.

The Green Energy Africa Summit will return to Cape Town, 10 – 11 October 2023, held under the theme, “Unlocking Africa`s Just Energy Potential”. Day one of the summit will connect government, national regulators, utilities, developers, financiers and service providers, to discuss the realities of harnessing a diverse energy mix that attracts investment and delivers sustainable outcomes for Africa.

On day two, the Energy Investment Village (EIV), will provide a pitching platform for clean energy entrepreneurs to promote their projects to established investors looking for bankable deals. Organised in partnership with Saldanha Bay Innovation Campus (SBIC), Research Institute for Innovation and Sustainability (RIIS), Anza Capital and AfIDA. This unique platform will allow investors to deal source and African clean energy entrepreneur to secure partners, mentorship and capital to drive their projects forward.
